Another example of the power of showing v. telling in any communication -- including the pitch.

British Rail CEO and marketing people came in to agency for the presentation, the lobby was a mess and smelled funny, the receptionist was rude and disinterested, made them wait for twenty minutes, they decided to leave, as they walked toward the door the agency came out and said thanks for experiencing what it’s like to ride British Rail, let’s talk about our plan to help you change this perception
