Dinner with My Friend, Mandy

I had dinner with my best friend Mandy tonight. I was hoping for a nice, relaxing casual evening out together since we hadn’t seen each other in about 3 months. My friend Mandy is a democrat and I am a fiercely devoted Republican. Let’s just say things got a little heated when the subject of politics came up. We got on the topic of my favorite GOP candidates and she berated each and every one of them. I was really disappointed that our dinner took that direction. I still respect her, but I wish she didn’t attack my positions like that.
